The House Of Aberg
Scandinavian Impressionism, undressed.
Aberg & Co’s interpretation of Scandinavian Impressionism is a stylized, undressed approach shaped to complement Scandinavian minimalism—where clarity, light and refined color harmonize seamlessly with modern, pared-back interiors.
Aberg & Co is a Scandinavian Impressionist art house led by Maria Aberg and built upon the artistic foundation established by Elena Einarsson in 1995. The house began with a simple, enduring vision: to enrich Scandinavian interiors with refined color and contemporary light—creating artworks that uplift atmosphere, brighten emotional tone and bring a sense of inner harmony to modern, refined interiors.
Guided by this philosophy, the studio’s work integrates the discipline of Japanese and East Asian calligraphy, where intention and mastery converge in a single, confident stroke. This approach informs the house’s own gesture: compositions created through decisive, unbroken movements that distill nature into atmosphere, tone and presence, replacing detail with rhythm, color and structure.
Within this framework, Maria Aberg brings contemporary lightness to landscapes and abstract florals, shaping the house’s public voice and direction. Elena Einarsson, whose classical mastery forms the foundation of the studio, contributes depth through vivid botanical and figurative work refined over decades. Together they create environments marked by balance, warmth and elevated emotional tone, offering a positive impression on the viewer’s subconscious through clarity of color and atmosphere—refining a Scandinavian tradition for a modern, international audience.
Aberg & Co is presented in the Röshults showroom in Milan, where its works integrate naturally into contemporary architecture and Scandinavian design.
Their artworks are held in Swedish banks, Ericsson, Nordea and Gazprom, and in international private collections, including the residence of the Consul of the Italian Embassy in Stockholm. Collectors include executives, public figures and creatives, drawn to the house’s distinctive clarity, color philosophy and positive subconscious resonance.
