Aberg & Co. is a Scandinavian Art House led by Maria Aberg. Rooted in academic tradition yet driven by a contemporary pulse, we bridge the gap between classical mastery and modern aesthetic.
The house’s signature is defined by compositions created through decisive, unbroken movements. We consciously choose to strip away unnecessary detail, leaving behind only the essential elements required to convey our vision. Whether through a brushstroke or a shutter, our aim is to capture the essence of a moment exactly as it is: bare and undressed.

The House of Aberg maintains a truly global footprint, with studios in Stockholm and the South of France. Our works are held in an expansive network of prestigious environments — from the boardrooms of major financial institutions across Sweden and international landmarks like Gazprom, to the private collections of the cultural and diplomatic elite, including the Italian Consul. Today, our presence extends across Japan, the United States, and Europe, anchored in countless locations worldwide where artistic excellence is a prerequisite.

The House of Aberg & Co. is a creative sanctuary built on the discipline of a Master. Our foundation rests on the classical training of the Academy of Art in Moscow, yet our spirit is guided by the philosophy of Japanese calligraphy. Like a Samurai’s strike, our art is defined by bold, calligraphic moves — confident, singular strokes where every movement is intentional.
Developed and refined since 1995, our signature style is a bridge between the soul of Impressionism and a Scandinavian stylization tailored for modern architecture and interiors. Our work is built on a formal understanding of the subconscious and how visual language affects the mind. By integrating a professional background in graphic design and the psychology of communication, we ensure that our compositions use color and form to evoke a purposeful, positive resonance.
This is why we embrace the 'undressed' aesthetic. By deliberately stripping away unnecessary details, we elevate the work beyond the banal to capture the raw pulse of a moment — not just how it looks, but the profound truth of how it is felt.

Since 2016, we have expanded this legacy into fine art photography and form, seeking the unscripted honesty that defines the beauty of the authentic.
Our atelier is a living heritage, where we occasionally invite Guest Masters to collaborate, ensuring that every work from our House remains as relevant tomorrow as it is today.

THE PRIVATE VAULT
The masterworks within The Private Vault are the defining pieces of our heritage. These original masterworks are held in our permanent collection and are Not For Sale (NFS) — they serve as the eternal standard of The House of Aberg.
COMMISSIONED VARIATIONS
While the original remains within the Vault, we accept a strictly limited number of applications for Commissioned Variations. Following the tradition of the Old Masters, the Master can create a unique, hand-painted original upon request — a singular version inspired by a specific work from our private collection.
Each variation is a fresh, unique creation and never a replica.
To maintain the integrity of our craft, we only release 9 such originals per year. This ensures that every work remains a rare testament to our academic truth and singular craftsmanship.
