The Celestial Current

Element II — The Celestial Current was conceived as an original oil painting and later selected as the foundation for the Aberg & Co × Röshults collaboration.

The work explores water as a primordial and philosophical force — a symbol of renewal, clarity, and continuous transformation. Through layered movement and nuanced tonal shifts, the composition captures the delicate dialogue between stillness and flow, where calm and energy coexist in quiet equilibrium.

From this original work, the collaboration with Röshults emerged organically, drawn to the painting’s architectural balance, precision, and sense of timeless calm. The original remains the singular source — the point of origin from which all subsequent interpretations were developed.
